At the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event yesterday, the company unveiled its flagship Galaxy S20 lineup, along with its second foldable phone — the Galaxy Z Flip. Much like last year, this year’s flagship series from Samsung included three devices — the Samsung Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and Galaxy S20 Ultra — which will be available for pre-orders starting February 21st. Buyers will get to choose from a couple of different color variants for each device, with the Galaxy S20 being offered in a Cosmic Gray, Cloud Blue, and Cloud Pink finish, the Galaxy S20+ in a Cosmic Gray, Cosmic Black, and Cloud Blue finish, and the Galaxy S20 Ultra in a Cosmic Gray and Cosmic Black finish. However, it seems like Samsung will be offering the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20+ in a couple of more color variants in its home market of South Korea.
According to a recent Weibo post from renowned leakster Ice Universe, the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20+ will also be available in Cloud White, Positive Red (translated) and Positive Blue (translated) finishes that will be unique to South Korean operators. While the Cloud White variant of the Samsung Galaxy S20 and S20+ is already up on Samsung’s Korean website, there’s no information from the company regarding the other two color variants right now. Samsung is known to offer several new color variants of its flagship devices over the course of the year and we expect no different from the company this time around. While the company might initially launch the new color variants exclusively in the Korean market, we can safely assume that they will eventually make their way to other regions later in the year. It’s also worth noting that the Cloud White finish replaces the Cloud Pink finish for the Galaxy S20 and the Cosmic Black finish of the Galaxy S20+ in the Korean market. The color variants offered for the Galaxy S20 Ultra remain unchanged.
